Want Spring at Home? Make These Crepe Paper Plum Blossoms 🌸

White crepe paper plum blossom branches displayed in a ceramic vase

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
Time: About 2 hours per plum blossom branch

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Today, we’re making elegant white crepe paper plum blossoms filled with beautiful Asian charm. 🌸
White plum blossoms are often associated with purity, nobility, and a clear heart. Maybe that means these flowers will look even better in the hands of someone with a kind and graceful heart. 😊

Add fully bloomed white plum blossoms and tiny buds along the branches, then place them in your favorite vase. Just a few branches can bring an elegant Asian-inspired mood into your home without needing fresh flowers. 🏺🌿

And the best part? These crepe paper flowers won’t wilt. 🌸 Once you finish your arrangement, you can enjoy your handmade plum blossom decor season after season.

If you’re new to DIY paper flowers, don’t worry. In my free YouTube paper flower tutorial, you can closely follow my hand movements and see how I shape and handle each material step by step. 🎥✂️

I’ve also organized the materials, measurements, and helpful tips below, so even if this is your first time working with crepe paper flowers, you’ll have everything you need to create a beautiful white plum blossom branch with a polished finish. 🌿✨

Materials for making crepe paper plum blossoms including paper, floral tape, wire, glue, and decorative sand

    Materials 🌿

    • Pattern
    • Scissors
    • Wood glue
    • 90 gsm white crepe paper
    • 90 gsm pink crepe paper
    • 140 gsm green crepe paper
    • 20 mm Styrofoam balls
    • No. 23 green paper-covered floral wire
    • No. 18 green paper-covered floral wire
    • Thin wooden stick
    • Yellow floral tape
    • Green floral tape
    • Yellow decorative sand

    Material Tips 🌿

These white plum blossoms are made with high-quality 90 gsm Italian crepe paper, which gives the finished flowers a soft texture and an elegant Asian-inspired look. 🌸
You don’t need to make a large arrangement either. Just one or two branches in a vase can create a beautiful sense of open space and balance.

Because the design is delicate and graceful rather than flashy, it works especially well on a bedroom table, dining table, shelf, or quiet corner of the home. 🏺✨
A small arrangement can make the whole space feel calmer and more refined.

    Eva’s Tip 🌼

For the flower buds, I use Styrofoam balls fixed onto paper-covered floral wire and then cover them with crepe paper petals. If you don’t have Styrofoam balls, don’t stop there—roll a small piece of aluminum foil into a round shape and use it instead. 😊

To create the stamens, yellow floral tape works best. If you don’t have it, cut yellow crepe paper into strips about 5 mm wide and use those instead. ✂️🌼

For the final touch, add a little yellow decorative sand to the tips of the stamens to create realistic-looking pollen. If you don’t have colored sand, shave a little yellow pastel into powder and use that instead. 🌾✨

Crepe paper plum blossom size guide showing 2.5 cm flowers and a 30 cm branch

    Size 📏

Each white plum blossom is about 2.5 cm in diameter, and the finished branch is approximately 30 cm long. 🌸

The branch length can be adjusted depending on where you want to display it. You can connect additional floral wire to make the branch longer, or simply trim it shorter for a smaller vase or compact arrangement. ✂️🌿

If you make the branch longer, add a few more blossoms and buds along the stem so the arrangement still looks balanced and natural. 🌼

    How to Make It 🌸

Cutting white crepe paper petals with a plum blossom template

    STEP.1⬆️

Stretch the white crepe paper as much as possible, then cut it according to the petal template.

Shaping a paper flower petal by gently stretching the center with both thumbs

    STEP.2⬆️

Gently press and stretch the center of each petal with your thumb to create a soft, natural curve.

Making fine fringed stamens from white crepe paper for a handmade flower

    STEP.3⬆️

Cut the white crepe paper according to the stamen template, then make very fine cuts, leaving about 5 mm uncut at the bottom.

Adding yellow decorative sand to the tips of handmade flower stamens

    STEP.4⬆️

Apply a small amount of wood glue to the tips of the stamens and attach the yellow decorative sand. 🌼

Wrapping green floral wire with yellow floral tape for the flower center

    STEP.5⬆️

Wrap the top of a No. 23 green paper-covered floral wire with yellow floral tape.

Attaching crepe paper stamens around floral wire to form the blossom center

    STEP.6⬆️

Wrap and glue the prepared stamens around the yellow-covered floral wire.

Attaching five white petals evenly around the plum blossom stamens

    STEP.7⬆️

Attach five petals evenly around the stamens so the plum blossom looks balanced from every angle. 🌸

Cutting green crepe paper sepals using the flower template

    STEP.8⬆️

Cut the green crepe paper according to the sepal template.

Wrapping a green paper sepal around the base of a white plum blossom

    STEP.9⬆️

Wrap and glue the green sepal around the bottom of the flower.

Securing a Styrofoam ball onto floral wire to create a flower bud

    STEP.10⬆️

Apply wood glue to the top of another No. 23 floral wire, then insert and secure a Styrofoam ball.

Covering a Styrofoam bud with stretched white crepe paper petals

    STEP.11⬆️

Cut the bud petals according to the template, then stretch and wrap them over the Styrofoam ball.

Adding green sepals around a handmade white plum blossom bud

    STEP.12⬆️

Attach the green sepal so it reaches slightly above the middle of the flower bud. 🌿

Assembling finished plum blossoms and buds into a natural paper flower branch

    STEP.13⬆️

Combine the finished flowers and buds onto the main branch, adjusting the spacing as you go. Once everything is secured, your crepe paper plum blossom branch is complete. ✨

    Eva’s Tip 🌿

When cutting crepe paper, make sure the direction of the template matches the grain direction of the paper. If the grain runs the wrong way, the petals can twist or lose their shape. ✂️🌸

When adding decorative sand to the stamens, use only a very small amount of wood glue. Too much glue can make the sand clump together. Dab the glue lightly, then press the stamens gently into the sand as if you’re dotting on pollen. 🌼✨

For the sepals, you can cut them exactly from the template, or simply divide the piece into five sections and round off the top edges. This shortcut works well and still gives the flower a neat finish. 😊🌿

Realistic handmade white plum blossom branch made from crepe paper with delicate buds

    Finished White Plum Blossom 🌸

Place one or two finished branches in a simple vase, such as a moon jar–style vase, and you can create an elegant arrangement without making a large bouquet. 🏺✨

Try displaying it in a small space such as an entryway, living room shelf, or studio desk. Because these crepe paper flowers are not tied to a season, they can bring a soft and calming atmosphere to your space all year round. 🌿

Unlike fresh flowers, these handmade plum blossoms won’t wilt, so you can enjoy them for a long time. They also make a thoughtful paper flower gift for someone special—something they can keep instead of throwing away after a few days. 🎁🌸

And every time you look at the white plum blossoms you made with your own hands, I hope you feel a little sense of pride and accomplishment. 😊

White plum blossoms are known for blooming through the cold at the end of winter, becoming one of the first signs of spring. I hope this little flower reminds you that even after a difficult season, you can still bloom beautifully and grow stronger. 🌸✨

Flower friends, purchasing the pattern is a huge support for me and helps me keep creating and sharing more paper flower tutorials with you. 🌸💛

And if gathering all the materials feels difficult, I’ve also prepared a complete kit with everything you need in one place. ✂️📦 So please don’t give up before you even begin—give it a try and create your own beautiful flower.

I hope the flower you make with your own hands brings you a little more joy, pride, and a wonderful sense of accomplishment in your everyday life. 🌿✨

  • Want a Carnation That Never Wilts? Make This Crepe Paper Carnation 🌸

Want a Carnation That Never Wilts? Make This Crepe Paper Carnation 🌸

Peach crepe paper carnation flowers with realistic ruffled petals and dark green stems

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆

    Estimated Time: About 1 hour

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Giving a carnation for Mother’s Day or Teacher’s Day can feel much more meaningful when you’ve made it yourself. It becomes a sincere, personal gift rather than just another flower. 💐

And unlike fresh flowers, it won’t wilt after a few days. You can keep it and enjoy it for a long time. ^^

The layered petals and natural ruffles are also what make this crepe paper carnation so pretty. 🌸
Place it on a shelf, table, or anywhere around the house, and it can instantly add a little floral touch to the space.

The difficulty level isn’t high either. I’m currently using this project in elementary school classes, and the students are able to make it really well. 😊
So if you follow this tutorial, even beginners can make one without too much trouble.

And that’s not all — I also have a full YouTube making video, so you can watch the free video together with this post while you work. 🎥✨

Materials for making a crepe paper carnation including red and green crepe paper, wire, glue, and floral tape

    Materials

    • Pattern
    • Scissors
    • 90 gsm red crepe paper
    • 90 gsm green crepe paper
    • 18-gauge green paper-covered floral wire
    • Green floral tape

For this carnation, I used high-quality 90 gsm Italian crepe paper. 🌸
The 90 gsm weight is great for shaping those fine petal textures and getting that soft, realistic look.

For the stem, I usually wrap it with floral tape.
But if you don’t have any, no problem — just cut green crepe paper into strips about 1 cm wide, stretch them slightly, and use them in place of floral tape. 🌿✂️

That little substitute works surprisingly well and saves you from having to buy an extra material.

Finished crepe paper carnation showing a 6 cm flower diameter and 20 cm overall stem length

The flower is about 6 cm (2.4 in) in diameter, and the overall length is around 20 cm (7.9 in). 🌸
It’s pretty close to the size of a real carnation.

If you want to change the flower size, the spacing of the folds makes a difference.
Fold and attach the petals more tightly, and you’ll get a smaller carnation.
Leave a little more space between the folds, and the flower will open up wider and look bigger. ✂️🌿

    How to Make

Cutting folded red crepe paper into three sections for carnation petals

    STEP.1⬆️

Cut the red crepe paper using the petal pattern. Fold it twice, then cut it into three sections, leaving about the bottom one-third uncut.

Rounding the top edges of red paper petals with scissors

    STEP.2⬆️

Trim the top edges with scissors to make them softly rounded. ✂️

Twisting and stretching crepe paper to create natural ruffled petal edges

    STEP.3⬆️

Gently open the top of each petal with your fingers, then twist and stretch the paper slightly as if you were tearing it. This creates the natural wavy edges that make the carnation look more realistic. 🌸

Make 3 petal pieces the same way.

Attaching layered red carnation petals around an 18-gauge floral wire

    STEP.4⬆️

Take the 3 finished petal pieces and attach them around the top of the 18-gauge paper-covered wire, folding the paper little by little as you go.

Cutting a green crepe paper sepal using the flower pattern

    STEP.5⬆️

Cut the green crepe paper using the sepal pattern.

Wrapping the green sepal around the base of a handmade paper carnation

    STEP.6⬆️

Wrap and glue the sepal around the bottom of the flower.

Adding a narrow crepe paper leaf along the carnation stem

    STEP.7⬆️

Cut the green crepe paper using the leaf pattern, then attach the leaves below the flower along the stem. 🌿

Gathering finished red paper carnations together into a small flower bunch

    STEP.8⬆️

Gather the finished carnation stems together and tie them into a small bunch.

And that’s it — your crepe paper carnation is finished. 💐✨

Finished blush pink crepe paper carnations with layered ruffled petals and slender green leaves

    EVA’s TIP

When you make the wavy edge on the petals, gently stretch the top with your fingers first, almost like you’re pressing it open. Then give it a light twist. That’s enough to create a nice natural ruffle. 🌸

Don’t twist too hard. If you overdo it, the crepe paper can tear or start to look frayed.

Also, try not to pinch the paper with your fingernails. Hold it with the pads of your fingers instead. That little difference helps prevent tearing. ✋

When you attach the petals around the paper-covered wire, don’t worry too much about keeping every fold perfectly even. The spacing can be slightly different. Once the flower is finished, those small differences actually make the carnation look more natural.

And when you glue the bottom of the petals, press the base together with your fingers as you go. This gathers the lower part while letting the top open up into a fuller carnation shape. 🌿✨

Tie a small ribbon around your handmade paper carnation bouquet and give it as a gift for Teacher’s Day, Mother’s Day, or a parent’s birthday. 🎀🌸

Because you made it yourself, it carries a little more meaning than a store-bought flower. It’s a simple gift, but one that feels personal and full of care. 💐✨

My lovely blooms, purchasing the pattern is a huge support for me and helps me keep creating and sharing more paper flower tutorials. 🌸💕

And if gathering all the materials feels like the hardest part, I’ve also prepared a kit with everything you need in one place. No hunting around for the right paper, wire, or tape. ✂️🌿

So don’t give up before you even start. Give it a try and make your own beautiful flower with your own hands.

I hope the flower you create brings you a little joy, a sense of accomplishment, and one more lovely moment in your day. 💐✨

Thanks for stopping by my little paper flower garden, my lovely bloom. 🌼 See you among the petals again!

  • Paper Flower Tutorial: Make a Dandelion Pot You’ll Want to Show Off

Paper Flower Tutorial: Make a Dandelion Pot You’ll Want to Show Off

Yellow paper dandelion flower pot with a God Bless You topper for handmade home decor

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆

    Time: About 2 hours

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌼

Today, we’re going to make a cheerful dandelion flower pot that can beautifully brighten up a desk, windowsill, or any little corner of your home. 🌼

Even elementary school kids can follow along with this project quite well.
That’s because there’s no complicated technique involved—you simply roll the thinly cut petals around and around until they turn into a flower. 😊

If you make this pretty dandelion yourself and place it somewhere in your home, even an ordinary space can instantly feel brighter and more cheerful.
And every time you look at it, you can enjoy that little sense of pride and happiness that comes from knowing, “I made this myself.” 💛

In this post, I’ll show you the making process in detail with photos.
For the parts that are hard to explain with words alone, I’ve also prepared a detailed YouTube video, so following along with both the post and the video will make the process even easier. 🎥✂️

If a dandelion that you made with your own hands can stay in your home without ever wilting, I think it can keep bringing a bright and happy feeling to your space for a long time. 🌼✨

Paper dandelion craft materials including flower pot, petal strips, stem wire, leaves, sepals, topper, glue, and floral tape

    Materials ✂️🌼

    • Scissors
    • Hot glue gun
    • 4 mm flower stem
    • 90 gsm green crepe paper
    • Yellow marker
    • 150–180 gsm yellow cardstock
    • 150–180 gsm green cardstock
    • Wood glue
    • Styrofoam
    • Flower pot
    • Pot cover
    • 180–200 gsm topper paper in bronze
    • Topper stick
    • Small pebbles
Close-up of handmade yellow paper dandelion flowers with green leaves and buds

The thin petals are simply rolled from the center, so this is a beginner-friendly paper flower with very few complicated techniques. 🌼
Unlike crepe paper flowers, you don’t need to shape each petal one by one, which makes it easier for first-time makers to get started. 😊

Try adding a message topper such as “God Bless You” to the finished dandelion pot. 💛
It turns your handmade flower into a thoughtful little gift as well. 🎁

Dandelions look most natural when arranged in a flower pot rather than a bouquet or vase.
Place it on a desk, windowsill, or shelf, and it can instantly brighten up an empty little corner. 🌿✨

I used 180 gsm yellow and green cardstock.
To keep the petals and leaves from drooping, I recommend using cardstock that is at least 150 gsm.

For the topper, I used 200 gsm bronze cardstock, but you can choose any color you like.
If you don’t have a clear topper stick, a thin wooden stick works beautifully too. 😊

I cut the petals, leaves, and sepals with a cutting machine.
Because dandelion petals are very thin and need to be cut evenly, using a Silhouette or Cameo cutting machine is much easier than cutting them all by hand. ✂️

Paper dandelion flower pot size guide showing 5 cm flower diameter and 20 cm total height

The flower is about 5 cm (1.97 in) in diameter, with the flower stems reaching about 10 cm (3.94 in) above the pot. The total height, including the pot, is approximately 20 cm (7.87 in). 🌼

It’s a nice size for a desk, windowsill, dining table, or shelf without taking up too much space. ✨

A flower pot around 10 cm wide gives the arrangement the most balanced look.

    How to Make It ✂️🌼

Shaping thin yellow cardstock petals with scissors for a paper dandelion flower

    STEP.1 ⬆️

Cut the yellow cardstock using Petal Pattern 1.
Then gently pull the edge with scissors to curve the petals outward.

Wrapping the first yellow petal strip around a green flower stem to form the dandelion center

    STEP.2 ⬆️

Wrap Petal 1 around the top of the flower stem and glue it in place.

Coloring the tips of yellow paper petals with a marker for added dandelion detail

    STEP.3 ⬆️

Color only the thin tips of Petal 2 with a yellow marker. 🖍️

Rolling a fringed yellow paper strip around the flower stem to build the dandelion petals

    STEP.4 ⬆️

Wrap Petal 2 around the outside of Petal 1 and glue it in place.

Curving yellow cardstock petals by hand to create a fuller paper flower shape

    STEP.5 ⬆️

Shape Petals 3 and 4 by pulling them outward with scissors, then attach them around Petal 2.

Shaping green cardstock sepals with scissors for the base of a paper dandelion

    STEP.6 ⬆️

Cut the green cardstock using the sepal patterns.
Curl the two thin sepal pieces outward with scissors. 🌿

Finished yellow paper dandelion flower with green sepals wrapped around the base

    STEP.7 ⬆️

Apply a small amount of wood glue and attach the two thin sepals under the flower.

Attaching additional green sepals under the handmade dandelion flower

    STEP.8 ⬆️

Gently crumple the wider sepal, open it again, and bend the ends outward for a more natural shape.

Curving the edges of a green cardstock dandelion leaf with scissors

    STEP.9 ⬆️

Cut the green cardstock using the leaf pattern, then curve the edges gently with scissors. 🍃

Arranging handmade paper dandelion flowers and leaves together on the stems

    STEP.10 ⬆️

Combine the finished flowers and leaves to build the dandelion arrangement.

Finished paper dandelion flower pot decorated with green leaves and small pebbles

    STEP.11 ⬆️

Place the flowers in the pot and finish by covering the surface with small pebbles. 🌼✨

    Eva’s Tip 🌼

When curling the dandelion petals with scissors, make the curl a little stronger than you think you need. ✂️
The petals will loosen slightly as you wrap them around the stem, so starting with a firmer curl helps the finished flower keep its shape.

When attaching the two sepal pieces, try not to overlap them in the same position.
Place them so they cross between the gaps instead. This makes the base of the flower look fuller and more natural. 🌿

For the leaves, leave about 7–8 cm (2.8–3.1 in) between the flower and the leaf.
If the leaves sit too close to the flower, the arrangement can look crowded.

And when coloring the petal tips with a yellow marker, don’t be afraid to make the color a little stronger. 💛
Because the petals are so thin, the color softens once everything is rolled together and becomes a nice detail rather than looking too bold.

You can feel a sense of accomplishment, brighten up the atmosphere of your home, and actual Etsy customer reviews also say that the flowers are beautiful and the instructions and videos are easy to follow, so even beginners can feel more confident about giving it a try. 💛

Finished yellow paper dandelion flower pot with God Bless You topper for cheerful handmade home decor

My lovely blooms, purchasing the pattern is a huge help and allows me to keep creating and sharing more paper flower tutorials with you. ^^ 🌼💛

If finding all the materials one by one feels like too much work, I’ve also prepared a complete kit with everything you need for one project. ✂️🌿

So don’t give up before you even begin. I hope you’ll enjoy making your own beautiful flower and feel the happiness and sense of accomplishment that comes from creating something with your own hands. 🌼✨

Want to Make Paper Roses That Look Real? Try This Crepe Paper Rose Garland

Hands arranging a red crepe paper rose vine on a wall for elegant paper flower decor

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Today, we’re going to make a beautiful crepe paper rose garland, with rich red roses and green leaves flowing naturally along the vine. 🌹🌿

If you’ve ever wondered how to make paper roses that look full and realistic, this project is a lovely one to try. The layered petals give each rose a soft, natural shape, while the leafy vine turns the finished piece into beautiful paper flower wall decor. ✨

I’ve uploaded a detailed step-by-step video tutorial on YouTube, and I’ve also listed all the materials and helpful tips you’ll need right here in this post. 🎥✂️

Follow along with the video and blog tutorial at your own pace—even if you’re completely new to making crepe paper flowers, you can create a beautiful finished piece you’ll be proud to display. 😊

This rose garland has the lush, romantic look of fresh roses, but unlike real flowers, it won’t wilt. 🌹💕 Hang it on a wall, decorate a special corner of your home, or use it as a long-lasting floral accent for an event or photo backdrop.

Crepe paper rose garland size guide showing 8 cm flower diameter and 45 cm total length

    Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
    Time: About 3 hours

Today’s project is a crepe paper rose garland that you can hang and use as beautiful wall decor. 🌹🌿

A few days ago, I shared a vase-style crepe paper rose project, and this one has a completely different charm. Instead of arranging the roses upright in a vase, we’re connecting them into a flowing vine shape so they can drape naturally along a wall. ✨

One of the best things about this rose garland is that you can easily customize the length. Just add more paper roses and leaves to make the vine as long as you like. If you make several garlands, you could even decorate a larger section of your wall and create a full paper flower display. 💕🏡

If you’re looking for a creative hobby you can enjoy at home, this is a lovely project to try. Making each flower by hand is relaxing, and seeing the finished piece hanging on your wall gives you such a satisfying sense of accomplishment. 😊

I share the entire process in detail on both YouTube and this blog, so you don’t need to attend an offline class to learn how to make paper roses. You can simply follow along step by step at your own pace. 🎥✂️

For this project, I use Italian crepe paper. I especially like Italian crepe paper because the colors are beautiful, and the texture and stretch help the petals and leaves hold a more natural shape. 🌹

For the stems, I use 23-gauge green floral wire. While thicker 18-gauge wire is often used for regular flower stems, the thinner 23-gauge wire works especially well for a hanging rose vine because it allows the branches to bend and drape more naturally. 🌿

If you don’t have a Styrofoam ball, you can also roll aluminum foil into a small, firm ball and use it as an alternative. 👍

The finished flowers are approximately 8–10 cm (3.1–3.9 in) in diameter, and the full rose garland is about 45 cm (17.7 in) long.

The exact size may vary slightly depending on how you shape the flowers and how you measure the finished piece. If you’d like a longer paper flower garland, simply add more rose blooms and leaves to extend the vine. 🌹✨

Materials for a crepe paper rose vine including crepe paper rolls, floral wire, wood glue, foam balls, and a wooden stick

    Materials 🌿

    • Pattern
    • Scissors
    • Hot glue gun
    • Wood glue
    • 23-gauge green floral wire
    • Thin wooden stick
    • 140 gsm lemon-yellow crepe paper
    • 140 gsm brown crepe paper
    • 90 gsm yellow crepe paper
    • 90 gsm green crepe paper
    • 60 gsm red crepe paper

    How to Make It ✂️🌹

Cutting yellow crepe paper with a template for the rose stamen pieces

    STEP.1 ⬆️

Stretch the green, brown, and yellow crepe paper as much as possible, then cut each piece according to the pattern templates. ✂️

Layering green, brown, and yellow crepe paper to prepare the flower center

    STEP.2 ⬆️

Attach the brown crepe paper to the top of the green piece. Twist the yellow paper into thin strands, place them along the border between the green and brown sections, and then fold the brown paper over them to secure everything in place. 🌿

Trimming lemon yellow crepe paper to size using the paper flower pattern

    STEP.3 ⬆️

Fully stretch the lemon-yellow, brown, and yellow crepe paper, then cut each piece according to the pattern. ✂️✨

Attaching brown and yellow paper along the edge of the lemon crepe paper strip

    STEP.4 ⬆️

Attach the brown paper to the top of the lemon-yellow piece. Twist the yellow paper, place it along the border between the lemon-yellow and brown sections, and cover it with the brown paper. 🌼

Cutting fine fringe into the green crepe paper stamen for a realistic flower center

    STEP.5 ⬆️

Take the green stamen piece and make very thin cuts from the brown section downward, about 1 cm (0.4 in) deep. ✂️

Snipping thin fringe into the lemon yellow paper while leaving the base uncut

    STEP.6 ⬆️

For the lemon-yellow stamen, cut thin fringes while leaving about the bottom one-third uncut. 🌼

Rolling the fringed crepe paper between fingers to create natural stamen texture

    STEP.7 ⬆️

Gently rub and roll the thin strips between your fingers to give the stamens a more natural, textured appearance. 🤲✨

Inserting green floral wire into a foam ball to build the center of a paper rose

    STEP.8 ⬆️

Insert a 23-gauge green floral wire into the Styrofoam ball. If you don’t have a foam ball, you can also use a small, tightly rolled ball of aluminum foil. 👍

Wrapping yellow stamen around the prepared flower center for a crepe paper rose

    STEP.9 ⬆️

Attach the green stamen around the middle of the foam ball. Then wrap the lemon-yellow stamen around the outside of the green section to create the center of the paper rose. 🌹

Shaping the edge of a red crepe paper petal by gently stretching and curling it

    STEP.10 ⬆️

Cut the red crepe paper according to the petal templates. Use the edge of your scissors to gently pull and curl the edges outward, creating a more natural rose petal shape. ✂️🌹

Attaching the first layer of red petals around the handmade rose center

    STEP.11 ⬆️

Attach 7 Petal A pieces evenly around the finished flower center. 🌹

Adding outer crepe paper petals with hot glue to build a full realistic paper rose

    STEP.12 ⬆️

Next, attach 7 Petal B pieces between the gaps of the first layer. Continue building the rose by adding 9 Petal C pieces, followed by 8 Petal D pieces. ✨

Layering the petals this way helps your crepe paper rose look fuller and more realistic.

Joining two green crepe paper leaf halves around floral wire

    STEP.13 ⬆️

Cut the green crepe paper according to the leaf pattern. Glue a piece of 23-gauge floral wire along the edge of one half of the leaf, then place the other half over the wire and glue the two sides together. 🌿

Cutting serrated edges into a wired crepe paper rose leaf for realistic detail

    STEP.14 ⬆️

Trim the edges of each leaf into a small serrated, saw-tooth shape to give the leaves a more realistic texture. ✂️🍃

Connecting finished paper roses and green leaves to assemble the rose vine

    STEP.15 ⬆️

Make several roses and leaves, then connect them together along the floral wire to create your finished crepe paper rose vine. 🌹🌿✨

You can add more paper roses and leaves if you want a longer rose garland, so feel free to adjust the length to fit your wall, photo backdrop, or decorating space. 💕

    Eva’s Tip 🌹✨

When shaping the rose petals, gently pull the edge of each petal backward with your scissors. ✂️
As you do this, the edge will naturally curl and start to look more like a real rose petal.

Try using a small flick of your wrist as you pull the scissors backward, almost as if you’re bending the petal slightly away from you. This helps create a softer, more natural curve. 🌹

When making the leaves, apply wood glue over the floral wire, but use only a small amount. Too much glue can make the crepe paper tear or cause discoloration. 🌿

A thin layer is enough. After applying the glue, gently press the paper together with your fingers so the leaf stays neat and smooth. 👍

When cutting the serrated edges of the leaves, you don’t need to make too many tiny teeth. ✂️🍃
Feel free to vary the number and shape of the serrations from leaf to leaf.

That little bit of irregularity actually helps the finished crepe paper rose vine look more natural once all the roses and leaves are connected together. 🌹🌿✨

Finished red crepe paper rose garland with layered flowers and green leaves for wall decor

Today’s finished rose vine makes a beautiful handmade accent for a wall or door. 🌹🌿
You can also lay it across a table for a soft, natural decorative touch.

Because these crepe paper roses don’t need watering or daily care, they’re easy to enjoy for a long time without worrying about wilting. ✨

And one of the best moments is when you finally hang the finished paper flower garland on the wall. A space that once felt simple can suddenly look brighter and more special—all because of something you made with your own hands. 😊💕

That feeling of seeing your handmade flowers transform a room is one of the reasons I love paper flower projects so much. 🌹✨

My lovely blooms, your support means so much to me. Purchasing the pattern is a huge help and allows me to keep creating and sharing more paper flower tutorials with you. ^^ 🌹💕

If it’s difficult to find all the materials individually, I’ve also prepared a complete one-project kit with everything you need. ✂️🌿

So please don’t give up before you start—I hope you’ll give it a try, enjoy the process, and experience the joy and sense of accomplishment that comes from creating your own beautiful flowers by hand. 🌼✨

Thanks for stopping by my little paper flower garden, my lovely bloom. 🌼 See you among the petals again!

How to Make a Paper Plum Blossom | Crepe Paper Flower Tutorial

Red crepe paper plum blossom branches arranged in a white vase

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Today, we’re going to make a beautiful paper plum blossom with vibrant pink petals and charming little buds.

At first glance, this realistic crepe paper flower may look delicate and difficult to make. But don’t worry. ^^

I’ve shared a detailed paper plum blossom tutorial on YouTube, where you can clearly see my hand movements and follow each step of the flower-making process.

If you watch the video together with the step-by-step instructions below, even beginners who are new to crepe paper flower making can create a beautiful and polished plum blossom branch of their own.😍

Pink crepe paper plum blossom branches arranged in a white vase for spring home decor

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
    Estimated Time: About 2–3 hours

Materials for making a crepe paper plum blossom including pink and brown crepe paper, floral tape, wire, glue, pollen powder, and Styrofoam buds

    Materials

    • Pattern
    • Scissors
    • Hot glue gun
    • 140g dark pink crepe paper
    • 140g dark brown crepe paper
    • Yellow decorative sand
    • Wood glue
    • Thin wooden stick
    • Brown floral tape
    • Red floral tape
    • 2 cm Styrofoam ball
    • 23-gauge green paper-covered floral wire
    • 18-gauge green paper-covered floral wire
Crepe paper plum blossom branch showing 2.5 cm flower diameter and 30 cm total branch length

A paper plum blossom is made by repeating a simple flower shape and arranging several blossoms together along a branch. Once they are combined, the finished piece becomes bright, full, and naturally beautiful. ^^

After you learn the basic flower-making method, you can simply repeat the same process, so even beginners can create a polished crepe paper flower project.

And don’t worry if your first flower doesn’t look perfect. ^^
When several blossoms are arranged together on the branch, the small differences between each flower actually help create a more natural, lifelike look.

For this crepe paper plum blossom, I used 140g Italian crepe paper. Italian crepe paper is one of my favorite materials for paper flower making because the colors are beautiful, the grain is even, and the paper has good stretch and elasticity. ^^💕

The flower buds are made with small Styrofoam balls. If you don’t have Styrofoam balls, you can also crumple a small piece of tissue into a round shape and use that instead.

To create the look of pollen, I used yellow decorative sand, but pastel powder can also be used as an alternative. 🙂

Each paper plum blossom is about 2.5 cm in diameter, and the finished branch is about 30 cm long. The final size may vary slightly depending on how you shape and arrange the flowers.

Because the branch is built by connecting floral wire, you can continue extending it as long as you like. If you want a longer and fuller plum blossom branch, simply make more flowers and add them along the branch. ^^😍

Use brown floral tape to combine the buds, branches, and finished flowers together. Arrange them naturally to complete your crepe paper plum blossom branch.

Finished crepe paper plum blossom branch arranged in a white vase as elegant spring home decor

    Eva’s Tip 🌸

When adding yellow decorative sand to the tips of the stamens to create the pollen effect, use only a very small amount of wood glue. If you apply too much, the pollen will clump together instead of looking delicate and natural. ✨

When attaching the flowers to the branch, leave enough space between each blossom so the petals don’t press against or crumple one another.

For the flower buds, try making a mix of smaller and larger buds. Varying the sizes will make your crepe paper plum blossom branch look much more natural and lifelike. 🌿

If you’re looking for a new hobby you can enjoy at home, crepe paper flower making is a wonderful place to start. 🌸

As you cut and shape each tiny petal, you can step away from busy thoughts for a while and simply focus on the movement of your hands.

Watching each flower come together and seeing the branch gradually become fuller is one of the most satisfying parts of making paper flowers. There’s something especially rewarding about creating a beautiful flower from a simple sheet of paper. 😊

If you follow the detailed YouTube tutorial together with the materials, steps, and tips shared in this blog post, even beginners can create a beautiful and polished paper plum blossom of their own. 🌸✨

At first glance, this wreath may look detailed and difficult to make, but the process is actually quite simple. You’ll color the paper petals, layer them together, and arrange the finished blossoms naturally along the branches.

That makes this an easy paper flower project even if you’re making paper flowers for the first time.

Handmade paper cherry blossom wreath with pink paper flowers hanging on a wall

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆

    Estimated Time: About 2 hours

Materials for a DIY paper cherry blossom wreath including cardstock petals, branches, ribbon, adhesive vinyl, pastel powder, and tools

    Materials

    • Scissors
    • Round paper board, 23 cm (9 in) diameter
    • Pink ribbon
    • Ball tool
    • Wood glue
    • EVA foam sheet
    • Pink pastel powder
    • Sponge
    • Rose gold adhesive sheet
    • Transfer sheet
    • Brown cardstock, 150–180 gsm
    • Pink cardstock, 150–180 gsm
    • Green cardstock, 150–180 gsm
Finished paper cherry blossom wreath measuring 23 cm (9.1 in) with pink cardstock flowers and green leaves

This cardstock cherry blossom wreath is more about repeating the same simple steps and creating a balanced arrangement than using complicated paper flower techniques. 🌸

Once you learn how to make one paper cherry blossom, you can simply repeat the same process until you have enough flowers for the wreath. That makes this a fun and beginner-friendly project, even if you’re new to paper flowers. 😊

Don’t worry if every blossom looks slightly different or opens in a different direction. In fact, when the flowers are not all exactly the same, the finished paper cherry blossoms look fuller and more natural—just like blossoms growing on a real branch.

The petals, stamens, and leaves can be cut quickly and easily with a cutting machine such as a Silhouette or Cricut. If you don’t have a cutting machine, you can also cut all the pieces by hand with scissors.

For the base, attach the branch pieces to a round paper board measuring about 23 cm (9.1 in) in diameter, then decorate the branches with the paper cherry blossoms and leaves.

If you don’t have a ready-made round paper board, simply cut a circle from cardstock that is at least 200 gsm.

I used a pink suede cord for hanging, but jute twine or a regular ribbon also works beautifully. 🎀

The EVA foam sheet is used underneath the petals while shaping them with a ball tool. If you don’t have EVA foam, a mouse pad is a great substitute.

The finished paper cherry blossom wreath measures about 23 cm (9.1 in) across.

It’s a lovely size for hanging on a door, above a desk, or on a bedroom wall—slightly smaller than a typical wall clock, so it adds a pretty spring accent without taking up too much space. 🌸

How to Make a Paper Cherry Blossom Wreath

Applying rose gold cherry blossom lettering to the round paper board with transfer tape

    STEP 1. Add the Lettering

Cut your chosen lettering from rose gold adhesive vinyl, then use transfer tape to place it slightly to the right of the center of the round paper board.

Shaping a brown cardstock branch with a ball tool on an EVA foam sheet

STEP 2. Shape the Branch Pieces

Cut the brown cardstock into branch shapes, then gently rub and shape each piece with a ball tool to give the branches a more natural look.

Attaching brown paper branch pieces around the edge of the cherry blossom wreath base

    STEP 3. Attach the Branches

Glue the shaped branch pieces onto the left side of the round paper board.

Adding pink pastel powder to the edges of paper cherry blossom stamen pieces

    STEP 4. Color the Stamens

Cut the light pink cardstock into stamen shapes.

Using pink pastel powder, lightly color only the top and bottom parts of each stamen piece.

Curling paper cherry blossom stamens backward with a thin wooden stick

    STEP 5. Curl the Stamens

Use a thin wooden stick to gently pull and curl the stamen pieces backward.

This small curve helps give the paper cherry blossoms a softer, more dimensional look. 🌸

Rolling a pink paper stamen piece into a small flower center

    STEP 6. Roll the Stamens

Apply a small amount of glue to the bottom of the stamen piece, then roll it into a small circular shape as shown in the photo.

Shaping pink cardstock cherry blossom petals with a ball tool on EVA foam

    STEP 7. Shape the Petals

Place the pink cardstock petals on top of an EVA foam sheet.

Use a ball tool to gently rub the center of each petal until it curves into a soft rounded shape.

Applying pink pastel powder to the edges of paper cherry blossom petals

STEP 8. Add Pink Pastel to the Petals

Apply pink pastel powder only around the outer edges of the petals.

This subtle shading makes the paper cherry blossoms look softer and more realistic.

Opening the petals around the stamen to shape a finished paper cherry blossom

STEP 9. Assemble the Cherry Blossoms

Glue the finished stamen into the center of each flower.

Then use a thin wooden stick to gently open and spread the petals into a natural cherry blossom shape.

Shaping green cardstock leaves with a ball tool for the cherry blossom wreath

    STEP 10. Shape the Leaves

Cut the green cardstock into leaf shapes, then gently rub each leaf with a ball tool to give it a soft curve and more dimension.

Arranging paper cherry blossoms and green leaves along the brown branches

    STEP 11. Decorate the Branches

Arrange and glue the finished paper cherry blossoms and green leaves along the branches.

Try varying the direction and spacing of the flowers slightly so your cherry blossom paper flowers look full and natural. 🌿🌸

Finished DIY paper cherry blossom wreath with pink ribbon for hanging

    STEP 12. Add the Ribbon

Punch a hole at the top of the round paper board and attach a ribbon or cord for hanging.

Your handmade paper cherry blossom wreath is now complete! 🎀

    Eva’s Tip 🌸

When applying the lettering vinyl, be sure to use transfer tape. The horizontal and vertical grid lines on the transfer tape will help you position the lettering straight and neatly.

Place the lettering slightly to the right of the center rather than directly in the middle. This leaves enough room on the left side for the paper branches and makes the overall cherry blossom wreath feel more balanced.

When attaching the branches, position them slightly inside the edge of the round paper board. If the branches are placed too close to the outer edge, the paper cherry blossoms may extend beyond the wreath once the flowers are added. 😊

If you’re looking for a relaxing new craft to enjoy at home, try making this paper cherry blossom wreath with cardstock. 🌸

Follow the detailed YouTube video together with the step-by-step instructions in this tutorial, and even beginners can create a polished and beautiful DIY cherry blossom wreath to display at home.

  • Paper Tulip Tutorial: Easy DIY Tulip Flower with a Cutting Machine

Paper Tulip Tutorial: Easy DIY Tulip Flower with a Cutting Machine

Three white paper tulips with green leaves arranged on a soft neutral background

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Today, we’re going to make a lovely paper tulip bouquet together. 🌷

Tulips are a great flower for beginners because the petal shapes are simple and each flower only needs a small number of petals. If this is your first time making paper flowers, this is a wonderful project to start with. 🙂

For this design, I used soft pink petals with a touch of light green shading near the bottom to create a gentle and elegant look.

Once finished, the paper tulips look beautiful arranged in a vase, or you can gather three flowers together and wrap them to make a small paper flower bouquet that will never wilt. 🎁

You don’t need any complicated techniques to create a polished result. Follow along with my detailed YouTube video and the step-by-step tutorial below, and let’s enjoy making these paper tulips together. ^^

    Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
    Time: About 1–2 hours

Materials for paper tulip tutorial including petals, leaves, floral wire, stems, crepe paper, pastel powder, kraft paper, and twine

    Materials

    • Scissors
    • Hot glue gun
    • 4 mm floral stem
    • 27-gauge white paper-covered floral wire
    • Wood glue
    • 90 gsm green crepe paper
    • 150–180 gsm green cardstock
    • 150–180 gsm yellow cardstock
    • 100–120 gsm light pink cardstock
    • Thin wooden stick
    • Light green pastel powder
    • Sponge
    • Kraft paper
    • Jute twine
    • Sticker

Tulips are one of the easier paper flowers to make, so they’re a great choice if you’re just getting started. 🌷

You can cut the petals and leaves by hand with scissors, or if you have a cutting machine, you can prepare several sets of petals and leaves much more quickly and easily. ^^

For this project, I chose a soft pink color to create a sweet and delicate tulip, but bright red or yellow tulips would also look beautiful. 🙂

For the petals, you can use slightly thinner cardstock than the leaves—around 100–120 gsm works well. Since floral wire is attached to the petals, they’ll still hold their shape nicely and can be curved the way you want.

To create a natural gradient on the petals, lightly shade the lower part with pastel powder. If you don’t have pastel powder, you can simply shave or grind a regular soft pastel and use the powder instead. 🎨

For the stem, I recommend using a thicker floral stem rather than regular floral wire. If you don’t have a thick stem, you can bundle several 18-gauge floral wires together and wrap them with crepe paper to create a sturdy stem. ^^

Paper tulip bouquet size measuring 23 cm tall and 9 cm wide in kraft paper wrapping

I designed this paper tulip bouquet in a cute, compact size that fits comfortably in one hand. 🌷

Including the wrapping, the finished bouquet measures about 23 cm tall and 9 cm wide.

The final size may vary slightly depending on how you shape the flowers and wrap the bouquet, so don’t worry if yours turns out a little bigger or smaller. ^^

    How to Make It 🌷

Adding light green pastel shading to pink paper tulip petals

    STEP.1 ⬆️

Cut the light pink cardstock into petal shapes, then add light green pastel powder only to the center area of each petal. 🎨

Attaching floral wire to the center of paper tulip petals

    STEP.2 ⬆️

Attach a piece of 27-gauge floral wire to the center of each petal. Cover the wire with a small strip of paper in the same color as the petal so the wire is hidden neatly.

Curling paper tulip petal edges with a thin wooden stick

    STEP.3 ⬆️

Use a thin wooden stick to gently curl the edges of each petal and give it a natural shape. 🌷

Attaching three yellow pistil pieces to the floral stem

    STEP.4 ⬆️

Attach 3 pistil pieces evenly around the floral stem.

Arranging yellow stamens evenly around the tulip pistil

    STEP.5 ⬆️

Attach 2 sets of the three-part stamens around the pistil, making sure they do not overlap each other.

Attaching the first layer of paper tulip petals below the stamens

    STEP.6 ⬆️

Insert the first layer of petals just below the stamens and secure them in place.

Adding the second layer of paper tulip petals between the first petals

    STEP.7 ⬆️

Attach the second layer of petals between the petals from the first layer so the flower looks full and balanced. ✨

Drawing natural leaf veins on green paper tulip leaves with a wooden stick

    STEP.8 ⬆️

Cut the green cardstock into leaf shapes, then use a thin wooden stick to draw gentle vein lines onto the leaves. 🌿

Attaching green paper leaves to the tulip floral stem

    STEP.9 ⬆️

Attach the leaves to the floral stem.

Rolling kraft paper into a cone for the paper tulip bouquet

    STEP.10 ⬆️

Roll a square piece of kraft paper into a cone shape and glue it in place. 🎁

Finished paper tulip bouquet wrapped in kraft paper with a jute twine bow

    FINAL STEP ⬆️

Make a bow with jute twine and attach it together with the sticker.

Your paper tulip bouquet is complete! 🌷🎀

    Eva’s Tip

When adding the leaf veins with a thin wooden stick, try following the natural outline of the leaf. This makes the vein lines much easier to draw and helps them look neat and realistic. 🌿

If using a wooden stick feels difficult, you can also use an awl. Just apply very light pressure so you create the vein lines without tearing or damaging the paper. ^^

For the kraft paper wrapping, you don’t need a separate template. Simply start with a square piece of kraft paper, roll it into a cone shape, and secure it in place. This is a very simple way to create a cute bouquet wrapper. 🎁

You can use double-sided tape or a hot glue gun to hold the kraft paper together.

If you prefer to use wood glue, hold the paper firmly in place for at least 1 minute so the cone doesn’t open back up before the glue sets. ^^

Finished paper tulip bouquet wrapped in kraft paper with jute twine and a gift sticker

Once your paper tulips are finished, you can wrap them with kraft paper and ribbon to create a sweet mini bouquet, or place them in a small vase to decorate a desk, shelf, or other cozy corner. 🌷

At about 9 cm wide and 23 cm tall, the finished paper tulip bouquet is compact enough to fit naturally into smaller spaces without feeling overwhelming. 🙂

If you make it as a gift, one of the nicest things about paper flowers is that they won’t wilt quickly like fresh flowers. They can be kept for a long time, and because they’re handmade, they also carry the time and care you put into creating them.

That little bit of effort can make the gift feel even more personal and memorable for the person who receives it. ^^

  • Crepe Paper Sunflower Wall Art: Easy DIY Flower Tutorial

Crepe Paper Sunflower Wall Art: Easy DIY Flower Tutorial

Crepe paper sunflower wall art with a large 3D yellow sunflower on a green canvas

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Today, we’re going to make a beautiful crepe paper sunflower using bright yellow crepe paper and turn it into a dimensional piece of sunflower wall art on canvas. 🌻

With all those layers of petals, this project may look a little complicated at first. But the process is actually quite simple—you’ll be repeating the same petal shapes and layering them one by one.

I’ve also shared a detailed video tutorial on YouTube, so if you follow along with the video and the steps in this blog post, even beginners who are new to paper flowers can create a beautiful, polished result. 🙂

Once finished, this 3D sunflower canvas is perfect for decorating a living room, entryway, or craft room. It can also make a thoughtful handmade housewarming or grand opening gift.

Even if this is your very first paper flower project, I hope you’ll enjoy making it with me and experience that wonderful sense of accomplishment that comes from creating a meaningful gift with your own hands. ^^

Four crepe paper sunflower wall art canvases in green, pink, red, and blue

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
    Time: About 2–3 hours

This crepe paper sunflower wall art is made by repeating the same simple steps as the flower gradually grows larger. 🌻

As you continue shaping and layering the petals, you’ll naturally become more comfortable working with crepe paper and improve your paper flower-making skills along the way. ^^

For this piece, I used one large yellow sunflower as the main focal point. The bright yellow petals contrast beautifully with the calm green background, making the warm and cheerful feeling of the sunflower stand out even more. 🙂

For the flower center, I layered brown and black crepe paper to create a rich, textured look, almost like lots of tiny florets gathered closely together.

Instead of attaching the petals in just one flat layer, I used two layers of petals to give the sunflower more depth and dimension. This makes the finished sunflower wall art look fuller, more realistic, and more polished. 🙂

Materials for crepe paper sunflower wall art including canvas, acrylic paint, coloring powder, glue, wooden stick, and crepe paper

    Materials

    • Scissors
    • Hot glue gun
    • 23 cm canvas
    • Acrylic paintbrush
    • Green acrylic paint
    • Wood glue
    • Thin wooden stick
    • Peach-colored shading powder for the petals
    • 140 gsm dark brown crepe paper
    • 140 gsm light brown crepe paper
    • 140 gsm black crepe paper
    • 90 gsm yellow crepe paper
23 cm crepe paper sunflower wall art on a green canvas held in both hands

For this crepe paper sunflower wall art, we’ll first paint the canvas with acrylic paint to create the background. 🎨

I chose a deep green color, but you can use any color you like, such as pink, blue, or purple. Changing the background color can give the finished sunflower wall art a completely different mood and style. ^^

For the crepe paper, we’ll use 140 gsm Italian crepe paper for the flower center and 90 gsm Italian crepe paper for the petals.

Italian crepe paper has a beautiful texture and comes in rich, vibrant colors, which makes it especially nice for creating realistic paper flowers. 🌻

For the size, we’ll be working on a 23 cm × 23 cm square canvas.

I recommend using a square canvas for this stemless sunflower design because it helps the large flower look more centered and visually balanced. ^^

    How to Make It 🌻

Drawing a center guide circle on the canvas for crepe paper sunflower wall art

    Step 1 ⬆️
Draw a guide line in the center of the canvas. ✏️

Painting the square canvas green while leaving the sunflower center unpainted

    Step 2 ⬆️
Paint the entire canvas with acrylic paint, leaving the guide line area unpainted. 🎨
Let the paint dry completely before moving on.

Cutting black crepe paper into fine fringes for the sunflower center

    Step 3 ⬆️
Cut the black crepe paper using the Stamen A template. ✂️
Leave about 2–3 mm uncut at the bottom, then cut the rest into very fine fringes.

Applying wood glue to black crepe paper fringe before folding and twisting

    Step 4 ⬆️
Apply a small amount of wood glue to each strip, fold it in half, and twist it gently.
Make 5 pieces in the same way. 🖤

Twisting black and yellow crepe paper fringe to make sunflower stamens

    Step 5 ⬆️
Cut the black and yellow crepe paper using the Stamen B template.
Glue the two colors together, cut them into fine fringes, and twist them.
    Make 2 pieces. 🟡⚫

Twisting brown crepe paper fringe to create a wavy sunflower center texture

    Step 6 ⬆️
Cut the light brown and dark brown crepe paper using the template.
Leave about 2 mm uncut at the bottom, then make cuts about 5 mm apart.
Twist the upper part to create a soft wavy texture. 🤎

Prepared light brown and dark brown crepe paper fringes for the sunflower center

    Step 7 ⬆️
Prepare about 12 light brown pieces and 6 dark brown pieces.

Connecting black crepe paper stamen strips to form the center of the sunflower

    Step 8 ⬆️
Connect the 5 Stamen A pieces together in one long strip.

Wrapping light brown crepe paper fringe around the sunflower center

    Step 9 ⬆️
Wrap the light brown stamens around the center and glue them in place. 🌻

Wrapping black and yellow stamen fringe around the crepe paper sunflower center

    Step 10 ⬆️
Wrap Stamen B around the center next.

Layering brown and black crepe paper fringes to build a textured sunflower center

    Step 11 ⬆️
Continue alternating the light brown stamens and Stamen B, repeating the layers 2–3 times. ✨

Measuring the finished crepe paper sunflower center to about 9 cm

    Step 12 ⬆️
Finish by wrapping the dark brown stamens around the outside.
Keep layering until the flower center reaches about 9 cm in diameter. 🤎🖤

Curling the edge of a yellow crepe paper sunflower petal with a wooden stick

    Step 13 ⬆️
Cut the yellow crepe paper using the Petal B template. ✂️
Apply wood glue to the bottom of each petal and twist the base gently. Use a thin wooden stick to curl only the upper edges of each petal.
    Make about 25 petals. 🌼

Adding peach shading powder to the base of a yellow sunflower petal

    Step 14 ⬆️
Cut the yellow crepe paper using the Petal A template.
Shade only the bottom part of each petal with dark peach-colored powder. 🍑 Shape the petals in the same way as Petal B by twisting the base and curling the upper edges.

Attaching the first layer of yellow crepe paper sunflower petals to the green canvas

    Step 15 ⬆️
Start attaching the Petal B pieces around the center using hot glue. 🌻

Adding a second layer of yellow petals between the first sunflower petals

    Step 16 ⬆️
Attach the Petal A pieces between the Petal B pieces to create a fuller, layered look. ✨

Attaching the textured flower center to complete the crepe paper sunflower wall art

    Final Step ⬆️
Apply hot glue to the center and attach the flower center you prepared earlier. Your crepe paper sunflower wall art is complete! 🌻💛

    Eva’s Tip

When drawing the guide line on the canvas, try to place it as close to the exact center as possible. This will help keep the sunflower centered and give the finished wall art a more balanced look. ^^

When painting the canvas with acrylic paint, apply the color a little more generously so the background looks rich and vivid once it dries. 🎨

It’s best to paint the canvas first. While the acrylic paint is drying, you can make the stamens and petals. That way, you won’t have to stop and wait later—you can start attaching the petals as soon as the other parts are ready. ^^

I really like the deep green background, but you can also use pink, blue, purple, or any acrylic color you love. Each background color gives the sunflower wall art a completely different mood and personality. 🌻

Once your paper flower wall art is finished, try hanging it in a living room, entryway, bedroom, or craft room—especially on a wall that feels a little empty.

Because the canvas is only 23 cm, it works nicely even in smaller spaces, while the large yellow sunflower still creates a bright focal point in the room. ^^

Paper Flower Wall Art: How to Make Forget-Me-Not Flowers

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Close-up of handmade forget-me-not paper flowers with blue petals and green leaves for paper flower wall art

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
    Estimated Time: About 2 hours

Today, we’re going to make tiny forget-me-not flowers from cardstock and fill a white canvas with them. 💙

The soft sky-blue and blue flowers will come together to create a sweet and cheerful paper flower wall art piece. ^^

The process is simple and repetitive—color the petals, shape them, glue the pieces together, and gradually build up the flowers—so even beginners can quickly get comfortable with this project.

Follow along with my detailed YouTube tutorial and the step-by-step instructions below, and let’s make this cute forget-me-not paper flower wall art together. 🌼

Materials for making forget-me-not paper flower wall art with cardstock petals, canvas, wire, floral tape, glue, markers, wooden sticks, and shaping tools

    Materials

    • Scissors
    • Hot glue gun
    • Square canvas, 24–25 cm
    • Wood glue
    • Black water-based marker
    • White gel pen
    • White 23-gauge paper-covered wire
    • Wooden craft sticks
    • Foam pad
    • Plastic ball tool
    • Floral tape
    • Blue cardstock, 150–180 gsm
    • Sky-blue cardstock, 150–180 gsm
    • Green cardstock, 150–180 gsm
    • Yellow paper, 80 gsm
Forget-me-not paper flower wall art displayed on a white canvas with blue cardstock flowers, green leaves, and a wooden basket

Forget-me-nots don’t require any complicated petal-shaping techniques, so they’re a wonderful project for beginners. 💙

The process is very simple—you just add a little color around the edges of the petals and attach the flower centers. It’s easy enough that even children can enjoy making these little paper flowers. ^^

Instead of using only one shade of blue, try mixing two or three different colors from the same blue family. This gives your forget-me-not paper flowers more depth and makes the finished arrangement look much more lively and natural. 🌼

I made lots of small flowers and turned them into paper flower wall art because I wanted to hang the finished piece on the wall.

But you don’t have to make this many flowers. If you make just a few stems and place them in a small vase, they can also become a lovely decoration for a dining table, desk, or shelf. ^^

For my wall art, I used a white canvas and arranged blue forget-me-not flowers above a small handmade fence.

Canvas boards come in many different colors, so feel free to choose one that matches your space. You can also paint a plain canvas with acrylic paint first and create your own custom background. 🎨

To make the little fence, I cut and glued wooden craft sticks together.

Size guide for forget-me-not paper flower wall art on a 24.5 cm square canvas

If you don’t have wooden sticks, you can also cut strips from cardstock heavier than 180 gsm and use those instead.

For this project, I used a square canvas measuring about 24.5 cm.

If you want to display your paper flower wall decor on a desk or shelf, a slightly smaller canvas would work nicely too.

A 24.5 cm canvas is a comfortable size for hanging on a wall or even decorating a door without feeling too large. ^^

How to Make the Forget-Me-Not Paper Flower Wall Art

Adding white details to blue cardstock petals for forget-me-not paper flowers

    STEP.1⬆️

Cut the sky-blue and blue cardstock into petal shapes.

Use a white gel pen to color one edge of each petal. This little detail gives the flowers a soft and delicate look. 💙

Drawing black centers on yellow cardstock pieces for forget-me-not flowers

    STEP.2⬆️

Cut the yellow paper into the flower-center shapes.

Draw a small black circle in the middle of each center using a black marker. 🌼

Inserting a looped 23-gauge wire through blue forget-me-not paper petals

    STEP.3⬆️

Bend the top of a 23-gauge paper-covered wire into a small loop.

Insert the wire through the center of the petals.

Attaching the yellow flower center to a blue forget-me-not paper flower

    STEP.4⬆️

Glue the yellow flower center onto the middle of the petals.

Press gently until it is firmly attached. ^^

Creating a center vein on green cardstock leaves with a pointed tool

    STEP.5⬆️

Cut the green cardstock into leaf shapes.

Use an awl or another pointed tool to draw a line down the center of each leaf to create a natural vein. 🌿

Wrapping forget-me-not flower stems and leaves together with green floral tape

    STEP.6⬆️

Use green floral tape to connect the forget-me-not flowers and leaves together.

Wrap the tape neatly around the stems as you assemble each small branch.

Assembling wooden craft sticks into a small fence for paper flower wall art

    STEP.7⬆️

Glue the wooden craft sticks together to create a small fence shape like the one shown in the photo. 🪵

Positioning the wooden fence on the bottom of a white canvas

    STEP.8⬆️

Position the fence in the center of the lower part of the canvas.

Secure it firmly with a hot glue gun.

Applying hot glue to forget-me-not flower stems before attaching them to the canvas

    STEP.9⬆️

Apply hot glue to the stems of the finished forget-me-not flowers.

Insert and secure them behind the fence one by one. 💙🌼

Arranging blue forget-me-not paper flowers and green leaves to complete the paper flower wall art

    FINAL STEP⬆️

Continue adding the flowers and leaves until there are no noticeable empty spaces.

Once the arrangement looks full and balanced, your forget-me-not paper flower wall art is complete! ✨

    Eva’s Tip

When adding white details around the edges of the petals with a gel pen, simply follow the natural outline of each petal.

You don’t need to make the line perfectly thin or even. A mix of thicker and thinner white edges actually makes the forget-me-not paper flowers look more natural. 💙

Before gluing the flowers permanently behind the fence, arrange all of them first and check the overall balance.

Once you find a layout you like, secure each flower in place with a hot glue gun. This makes it much easier to adjust the composition before everything is fixed. ^^

You can also freely mix the blue and sky-blue flowers.

There’s no need to use an exact 50:50 ratio—a slightly uneven mix can make your finished paper flower wall art look even more natural and lively. 🌼

Close-up of finished forget-me-not paper flowers with blue petals, yellow centers, green leaves, and a wooden fence

The meaning behind forget-me-not flowers is “Don’t forget me.” 💙

I think that sweet meaning suits these tiny, delicate flowers perfectly. ^^

My lovely blooms, your support means so much to me. Purchasing the pattern is a huge help and allows me to keep creating and sharing more paper flower tutorials with you. ^^

If it’s difficult to find all the materials individually, I’ve also prepared a complete one-project kit with everything you need.

Sunflower SVG Tutorial: How to Make a 3D Paper Sunflower

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

3D paper sunflower made from cardstock in a small pot using a sunflower SVG template

    Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
    Estimated Time: About 1 hour

Today, we’re going to make a cheerful 3D paper sunflower using yellow cardstock and place it in a cute little flower pot. 🌻

Sunflowers are one of the easiest paper flowers for beginners to make!

Because the shape is so familiar, it’s easy to understand how the flower should look. Simply roll and glue the center pieces, attach the petals around them, and your cardstock sunflower is almost complete. ^^

You can also decorate the pot with a topper featuring your own special message, making it an even more meaningful handmade gift. 💛

Follow along with my detailed YouTube video and this step-by-step sunflower SVG tutorial, and even if you’re a beginner, you’ll be able to create your own adorable paper sunflower pot.😘

Materials for making a 3D paper sunflower with a sunflower SVG, cardstock petals, leaves, flower pot, wire, glue, foam, moss, and topper

    Materials

    • Yellow cardstock, 150–180 gsm
    • Green cardstock, 150–180 gsm
    • Black cardstock, 150–180 gsm
    • Brown cardstock, 150–180 gsm
    • 4 mm flower stem
    • Wood glue
    • Scissors
    • Green crepe paper, 90 gsm
    • Plastic flower pot
    • Flower pot cover
    • Styrofoam
    • Artificial moss
    • Cardstock for the message topper
    • Topper stick
Finished 3D paper sunflower in a flower pot made from cardstock using a sunflower SVG template, decorated with a Good Luck topper

Today, we’re going to make a cute cardstock sunflower and turn it into a lovely little flower pot. 🌻

A single paper sunflower looks beautiful in a bouquet, but it also makes an adorable home decor piece when placed in a small pot. You can display it on your desk, a shelf, or a living room table to add a cheerful touch to your space. ^^

I planted mine in a plastic pot and decorated it with a flower pot cover, but if you have a small terracotta pot, that would look beautiful too.

If you’re making this 3D paper sunflower as a gift, try adding a topper with a special message. It’s a simple detail that can make your handmade gift feel even more personal. 💛

If you have a cutting machine such as a Silhouette or Cricut, you can easily create the topper along with your sunflower SVG pieces.

And don’t worry if you don’t have a cutting machine! You can simply draw the design onto cardstock with a pencil and carefully cut it out by hand with a craft knife. ^^

Size guide for a 3D paper sunflower pot showing a 10 cm flower head, 23 cm total height, and 10 cm pot diameter

For this paper sunflower, I recommend using cardstock around 150–180 gsm.

If the paper is too thick, it can be difficult to shape the petals naturally. On the other hand, if the paper is too thin, the petals may droop easily and won’t hold their shape well. 🌻

The green crepe paper is used to wrap the stem. If you don’t have crepe paper, floral tape works well too. ^^

For gluing, you can use either a hot glue gun or wood glue.

A hot glue gun is convenient because it sets very quickly and helps you work faster, but it can be harder to control the amount of glue.

If you’re a beginner, I recommend using wood glue because it gives you a little more time to adjust the pieces before they fully set.

For the size, we’re making this 3D paper sunflower pot small enough to display comfortably on a desk or table.

The finished sunflower is about 10 cm (3.94 in) in diameter, and the total height including the pot is about 23 cm (9.06 in).

It’s a compact size that fits nicely in many spaces without feeling too large. 🌻

How to Make the Paper Sunflower

Applying glue to a black cardstock center strip before wrapping it around the sunflower stem

    STEP.1⬆️

Cut 5 pieces of black cardstock using Center Template No. 1.

Apply a small amount of wood glue near the top of the flower stem, then wrap the black strips around the stem one by one.

Wrapping the layered cardstock center strips around the stem to form the sunflower center

    STEP.2⬆️

Cut 6 pieces of brown cardstock using Center Template No. 2.

Starting where the black center strips end, continue wrapping and gluing the brown strips around the flower center.

Continuing to wrap the dark cardstock strips around the stem for the layered sunflower center

    STEP.3⬆️

Cut 2 pieces of black cardstock using Center Template No. 3.

Attach them where the brown strips end and wrap them around to complete the layered sunflower center.

Curling the tips of yellow cardstock sunflower petals with scissors

    STEP.4⬆️

Cut the yellow cardstock using the sunflower petal template.

Using scissors, gently pull along the tip of each petal to create a soft outward curl.

Gently spreading the layered paper sunflower center with fingers to create a rounded shape

    STEP.5⬆️

Use your fingers to gently spread out the finished center pieces.

Shape them little by little until the center becomes full and rounded.

Attaching two layers of yellow cardstock petals underneath the sunflower center

    STEP.6⬆️

Glue 2 layers of yellow petals underneath the sunflower center.

Place the second layer so the petals sit between the petals of the first layer.

Curling the tips of green cardstock sepals with scissors

    STEP.7⬆️

Cut the green cardstock using the sepal template.

Gently pull the tips against the edge of your scissors to give them a slight curve.

Attaching green cardstock sepals to the back of the 3D paper sunflower

    STEP.8⬆️

Glue 2 sepal pieces underneath the flower.

Attach them neatly to cover the base of the petals.

Shaping the edges of green cardstock sunflower leaves with scissors

    STEP.9⬆️

Cut the green cardstock using the leaf template.

Use scissors to gently curl only the outer edges of each leaf outward.

Finished 3D cardstock sunflower with shaped leaves and a wrapped green stem

    STEP.10⬆️

Glue the finished leaves onto the flower stem.

And your cardstock sunflower is complete! 🌻✨

    Eva’s Tip

When curling the tips of the petals with scissors, start around the middle of each petal and gradually release the pressure as you pull toward the tip.

Use a light flick of your wrist rather than pulling too hard. A gentle curve will give your paper sunflower petals a much more natural shape. 🌻

When attaching the center strips, always begin the next strip exactly where the previous one ends.

This helps the finished sunflower center stay evenly rounded instead of becoming heavier or thicker on one side.

If you’re using wood glue, hold each piece in place for about 30 seconds so the paper doesn’t loosen before the glue begins to set.

Finished 3D paper sunflower in a small flower pot with green leaves, moss, and a Good Luck topper

Here is the cute paper sunflower pot we finished today. 🌻

Unlike fresh flowers, it doesn’t need any special care, so you can enjoy it every day. And I think paper flowers have a warm, handmade charm that feels a little more special than ordinary artificial flowers. ^^

One of the nicest things about making paper flowers yourself is the sense of accomplishment you feel every time you look at the finished piece.

You can also add a topper with a message such as “Good Luck” to turn this 3D paper sunflower into a thoughtful gift for someone starting a new chapter in life. 💛

The process isn’t difficult, so even if this is your first time making a paper flower, take it slowly and give it a try. I hope you enjoy creating your own little sunflower pot!💕

  • Paper Flower Wall Art: Turn Rolled Paper Roses into a Heart-Shaped Frame

Paper Flower Wall Art: Turn Rolled Paper Roses into a Heart-Shaped Frame

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Heart-shaped paper flower wall art made with red rolled paper roses in a white frame

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆

    Time: About 2 hours

Today, we’re going to create a lovely paper flower wall art piece using red rolled paper roses arranged in a heart shape. ❤️

Each rose is made by rolling a simple spiral paper pattern into shape, then arranging the finished flowers freely inside the heart design. Because the process is simple and repetitive, even beginners who are new to paper crafts can create a beautiful result. ^^

The combination of deep red roses, green leaves, and a clean white frame gives the finished piece a polished look. Instead of feeling like a simple paper flower craft, it becomes a dimensional piece of handmade wall art that can decorate your space beautifully.

If you follow my detailed YouTube tutorial along with the step-by-step instructions below, you’ll be able to create your own beautiful heart-shaped paper flower frame. 🌹

Materials for making heart-shaped paper flower wall art with red rolled paper roses, green leaves, red ribbon, and a rolling tool

    Materials

    • 150–180g red cardstock
    • 150–180g green cardstock
    • 180–210g white cardstock
    • Red ribbon
    • Paper quilling tool
    • Scissors
    • Hot glue gun
Heart-shaped paper flower wall art measuring 21 cm square with red rolled paper roses in a white frame

Once the spiral-cut cardstock is ready, start rolling it from the outer edge toward the center. Glue the bottom in place, and the flat spiral quickly turns into a dimensional paper rose. 🌹

Once you learn how to make one flower, making several more becomes much easier and faster. ^^

You don’t need to make every rose exactly the same size or shape. In fact, mixing slightly larger, more open roses with smaller, tightly rolled ones makes it easier to fill the empty spaces inside the heart and gives the finished paper flower wall art a fuller, more natural look.

For my design, I used red flowers with a white frame so the roses stand out clearly. You can follow the same color combination, or try something completely different, such as black and pink. Just changing the colors can make the same design feel like a completely new piece. 🎨

I use a paper rolling tool to shape the petals, but if you don’t have one, you can also hold the end of the paper with tweezers and roll it carefully by hand.

The finished frame is about 21–22 cm (8.3–8.7 in) square, which is a convenient size for hanging on a wall or door. It’s also compact enough to make a lovely handmade gift. ❤️

    How to Make It

Folding white cardstock along the frame pattern to make paper flower wall art

    STEP.1⬆️
Cut the white cardstock according to the frame pattern, then use a ruler along the dotted lines to fold each section neatly. 📏

Attaching red ribbon to the top of the handmade white paper frame

    STEP.2⬆️
Secure the red ribbon at the top of the frame and tie it firmly in place. 🎀

Securing the top of the paper frame with hot glue and red hanging ribbon

    STEP.3⬆️
Use a hot glue gun to attach and close the top section where the ribbon is fixed.

Attaching a green paper heart base inside the white frame

    STEP.4⬆️
Cut the green cardstock according to the heart pattern, then glue it in the center of the frame. 💚

Rolling a red spiral paper flower pattern with a paper rolling tool

    STEP.5⬆️
Cut the red cardstock according to the flower pattern, then insert the outer end into a paper rolling tool and begin rolling it tightly. 🌹

Loosening a rolled red paper rose to create a fuller flower shape

    STEP.6⬆️
Roll the paper all the way to the end, then slowly relax your grip so the spiral opens naturally into a rose shape. ✨

Securing the bottom of a rolled paper rose with hot glue

    STEP.7⬆️
Apply hot glue to the final tab and secure it to the bottom of the flower.

Curling the outer petals of a red rolled paper rose for a natural shape

    STEP.8⬆️
Use a thin stick to gently curl the outer petals outward for a fuller, more natural look. 🌸

Arranging red rolled paper roses from the bottom of a green heart shape

    STEP.9⬆️
Make several paper roses, then begin gluing them onto the green heart from the bottom upward. ❤️

Finished heart-shaped paper flower wall art with red rolled roses in a white frame

    FINAL STEP💕
Continue adding the red roses until the green heart is completely covered, and your heart-shaped paper flower wall art is complete! 🌹🖼️

    Eva’s Tip 🌿

When making the roses, they don’t all need to be exactly the same size. In fact, slightly different sizes make it much easier to fill the green heart base without leaving awkward gaps. ^^

If you can still see some of the green cardstock after attaching all the red roses, gently open the outer petals of nearby flowers to cover those spaces.

When attaching the green heart inside the frame, try to place it as close to the exact center as possible. This helps the finished paper flower wall art look more balanced and polished. ❤️

Once finished, the frame can be hung in a living room or bedroom as dimensional paper flower wall decor.

Because roses and hearts both symbolize love, this project also makes a meaningful handmade gift for an anniversary, Valentine’s Day, birthday, or housewarming. 🎁

You can completely change the mood just by changing the rose color. Red feels bold and romantic, pink creates a softer and sweeter look, and gold roses can give the piece a more elegant, luxurious style. ✨

If you’re looking for a relaxing hobby that lets you focus quietly on a simple process and keep the finished result for a long time, paper flower crafting is a wonderful place to start. ^^

Watching a flat piece of paper turn into a rose, and then seeing those roses come together to form a heart, is one of the most satisfying parts of this DIY paper flower project. 🌹

My lovely blooms, your support means so much to me. Purchasing the pattern is a huge help and allows me to keep creating and sharing more paper flower tutorials with you. ^^ If it’s difficult to find all the materials individually, I’ve also prepared a complete one-project kit with everything you need. Want Realistic Paper Daffodils? This Cutting Machine Method Makes Them So Easy 🌼

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Realistic white paper daffodils with yellow centers and handmade green leaves

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆

Time: About 30 minutes per flower

Today, we’re going to make a beautiful paper daffodil using cardstock and a cutting machine. 🌼
Daffodils have only a few large petals, so the pieces are simple to cut, shape, and assemble—even if you’re new to making paper flowers. ✂️
With a cutting machine, you can prepare the flower pieces quickly and neatly, but you can also cut them by hand with scissors if you prefer.
Follow along with my detailed YouTube tutorial and the step-by-step instructions below, and you’ll see how easily this elegant paper daffodil comes together. ^^
Take your time and enjoy the process—you might be surprised at how polished your very first flower can look. 🌿

Materials for making a paper daffodil with white, yellow, green, and brown cardstock, floral stems, and craft glue

    Materials

    • 150–180g white cardstock
    • 150–180g yellow cardstock
    • 150–180g green cardstock
    • 80–120g brown cardstock
    • 4 mm floral stem
    • Wood glue
    • Scissors
    • Hot glue gun
Handmade white paper daffodils with yellow trumpet centers arranged in a black vase for home decor

For this project, we’re making a clean and elegant paper daffodil with a cutting machine and cardstock. 🌼
The petals, pistil, stamens, and leaves can all be cut quickly and precisely with a cutting machine. If you don’t have one, that’s completely fine—you can also cut each piece by hand with scissors. ^^

The yellow trumpet-shaped center of the flower is called the corona, and it’s one of the most distinctive features of a daffodil.
For this version, I used white cardstock for the petals and yellow cardstock for the corona. You can also make both parts in yellow for a brighter, more classic daffodil look. 💛

For the stem, I used a sturdy 4 mm floral stem. If you don’t have one, you can bundle about five pieces of 18-gauge paper-covered wire together and wrap them with crepe paper to create a similar thickness.

The papery sheath around the base of the flower is called the spathe. Brown cardstock or kraft paper works well for this part.
Because we’ll gently crumple and unfold it to create a more natural texture, paper around 120g works better than very thick cardstock. It gives the spathe a softer, more realistic finish.

Paper daffodils measuring about 12 cm wide and 30 cm tall with white petals and yellow centers

The finished paper daffodil is about 12 cm (4.7 in) in diameter and 30 cm (11.8 in) tall.

If you plan to place the flower in a pot, remember that the lower part of the stem will be hidden inside the pot. So it’s best to decide the visible height first and then add a little extra length for planting.

For example, if you want the flower to stand about 30 cm above the pot, make the stem around 35 cm long so you have about 5 cm extra to insert into the pot. 🌿

How to Make a Paper Daffodil💕

Wrapping yellow cardstock stamens around the floral stem for a paper daffodil

    STEP.1⬆️
Cut the yellow cardstock into the stamen shape, then wrap and glue it around the floral stem as shown.

Lifting and shaping the yellow paper stamens around the daffodil stem

    STEP.2⬆️
Lift the stamens upward, then apply wood glue to secure them in place.

Attaching the paper pistil to the center of the handmade daffodil

    STEP.3⬆️
Attach the pistil to the center.

Adding a yellow cardstock ring beneath the stamens of a paper daffodil

    STEP.4⬆️
Cut a small donut-shaped piece from yellow cardstock and glue it beneath the stamens.

Rolling and attaching the yellow trumpet-shaped corona for the paper daffodil

    STEP.5⬆️
Roll the yellow trumpet-shaped piece into a cone, glue it together, then attach it below the stamens.

Curling white cardstock petals backward with scissors for a paper daffodil

    STEP.6⬆️
Cut the white cardstock into petal shapes, then use scissors to gently curl the petals backward.

Attaching white petals beneath the yellow corona of the paper daffodil

    STEP.7⬆️
Glue the petals underneath the yellow trumpet-shaped corona.

Adding a brown cardstock spathe beneath the paper daffodil petals

    STEP.8⬆️
Cut the brown cardstock into the spathe shape, roll and glue it into shape, then slide it into place beneath the petals.

Crumpling the brown paper spathe to create a natural daffodil texture

    STEP.9⬆️
Crumple the brown spathe gently, then unfold it to create a more natural papery texture.

Curling a long green cardstock leaf with scissors for the paper daffodil

    STEP.10⬆️
Fold each green cardstock leaf in half and open it again, then use scissors to gently pull and curl the leaf.

Finished paper daffodil with white petals, yellow trumpet center, brown spathe, and green leaves

    FINAL STEP💕
Attach two leaves opposite each other near the lower part of the stem, and your paper daffodil is complete! 🌼

Handmade white paper daffodils with yellow trumpet centers arranged in a black vase

    Eva’s Tip 🌿

When rolling and gluing the stamens with wood glue, hold them firmly in place for at least 30 seconds so the glue has time to set. If you release them too quickly, the rolled paper may begin to open again. ^^

When curling the petals and leaves with scissors, avoid using too much pressure. A light pulling motion with a gentle wrist movement is enough to create a soft, natural curve.

Attach the leaves so they face each other, positioning them slightly above the bottom of the stem. Leave a little stem exposed underneath so you still have enough length to insert the flower securely into a pot. 🌱

Once your paper daffodils are finished, try making several stems and arranging them together in a vase or flower pot. A small group of flowers can create a beautiful handmade decoration for your home. 🌼

This is also a great cutting machine paper flower project because you can achieve a polished result without using complicated techniques. The calm, repetitive process of cutting, shaping, and assembling each piece can make it a relaxing craft for adults of any age.

As you make more flowers and your collection begins to grow, your cutting, shaping, and assembling skills will naturally improve. Seeing all those finished flowers together can also give you a wonderful sense of accomplishment. ^^

My lovely blooms, your support means so much to me. Purchasing the pattern is a huge help and allows me to keep creating and sharing more paper flower tutorials with you. ^^

If it’s difficult to find all the materials individually, I’ve also prepared a complete one-project kit with everything you need.

So please don’t give up before you start—I hope you’ll give it a try, enjoy the process, and experience the joy of creating something beautiful with your own hands. 🌼

How to Make a Paper Calla Lily: Realistic Crepe Paper Flower Tutorial

    맞아. 처음 고정 인사말은 이거야.

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Yellow paper calla lily arrangement with dark green leaves in a gold flower pot

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆

Time: About 1 hour per flowe

Today, we’re going to make a beautiful paper calla lily using just one large petal piece. ^^

Because you don’t need to layer and glue lots of individual petals, this DIY paper calla lily is surprisingly simple to make. Its large, clean shape also makes it a great project for beginners who are just starting out with paper flowers. 🌿

The process is simple, but the finished crepe paper calla lily has such an elegant and sophisticated look. It makes a beautiful paper flower decoration for adding a graceful touch to any corner of your home.😊

Materials for making a crepe paper calla lily with yellow and green crepe paper, wire, floral tape, pastels, glue, and pollen powder

    Materials

    • Pattern
    • Scissors
    • Hot glue gun
    • 23-gauge green paper-covered wire
    • 4 mm floral stem
    • Yellow floral tape
    • Artificial pollen powder
    • 90g yellow crepe paper
    • 90g green crepe paper
    • Wood glue
    • Green oil pastel
    • Purple oil pastel
    • Sponge
Handmade crepe paper calla lilies arranged naturally at different heights in a clear glass vase

Calla lilies are a little different from flowers like roses or peonies because you don’t need to layer lots of petals one by one.

A paper calla lily is made with one wide petal that gently wraps around the center, which makes it a very beginner-friendly flower to create. 🌼

If you make several flowers, simply changing the height of each stem can make the whole arrangement look much more natural and balanced.

For mine, I used yellow crepe paper and added a soft green tint to the tip of the petal. I think a white calla lily would look beautiful too. 🤍
If you use white crepe paper for the petals, you can still add the same soft green shading near the tip.

I used 90g Italian crepe paper in yellow and green. There are many shades of green available, but for a crepe paper calla lily, I think a deeper green works especially well for the leaves and gives the flower a richer, more realistic look. 🌿

If you don’t have artificial pollen powder for the center, you can also cut a light-colored piece of crepe paper into very tiny pieces and glue them on instead.

For the shading, I used oil pastels and applied the color with a sponge. If you don’t have oil pastels, regular soft pastels will work too—just scrape a little pastel into powder and gently apply it to the paper with a sponge. 🎨

Finished paper calla lily measuring about 10 cm wide and 35 cm long

The paper calla lily we’re making today is about 10 cm (4 in) in diameter and 35 cm (14 in) in length.

If you’re making several flowers, try not to keep every stem the exact same length. 🌿
Cut the lower stems to slightly different lengths so the flowers sit at different heights.

This small difference makes a group of paper calla lilies look much more natural and beautifully balanced when arranged together.

How to Make a Paper Calla Lily💕

Cutting yellow crepe paper with a petal pattern for a paper calla lily

    STEP.1⬆️
Cut the yellow crepe paper according to the petal pattern.

Applying green oil pastel to the yellow crepe paper calla lily petal with a sponge

    STEP.2⬆️
Using a sponge, apply green oil pastel to the top and bottom of the petal.

Wrapping the floral stem with yellow floral tape to make the calla lily center

    STEP.3⬆️
Wrap about 5–6 cm (2–2.4 in) of the floral stem with yellow floral tape.

Shaping yellow floral tape into a rounded base for the calla lily flower center

    STEP.4⬆️
Wrap the lower part more thickly to create a small rounded ball about 2 cm (0.8 in) in size.

Adding artificial pollen powder to the handmade calla lily flower center

    STEP.5⬆️
Apply wood glue to the flower center, then cover it with artificial pollen powder.

Attaching the yellow crepe paper petal around the center of a paper calla lily

    STEP.6⬆️
Apply hot glue to the bottom of the petal and wrap it around just below the rounded center.

Curling the edge of a yellow crepe paper calla lily petal with a glue stick

    STEP.7⬆️
Use a hot glue stick to gently curl the edges of the petal.

Cutting dark green crepe paper with a leaf pattern for the calla lily

    STEP.8⬆️
Cut the green crepe paper according to the leaf pattern.

Attaching green paper-covered wire between two crepe paper calla lily leaf pieces

    STEP.9⬆️
Glue a piece of 23-gauge green paper-covered wire along the edge of one half of the leaf, then cover it with the other half and glue them together.

Twisting the edge of a crepe paper calla lily leaf to create a natural wavy shape

    STEP.10⬆️
Gently twist the edges of the leaf to create a natural wavy shape.

Applying purple oil pastel to the lower stem of a handmade paper calla lily

    STEP.11⬆️
Apply purple oil pastel to the lower part of the flower stem.

Finished yellow crepe paper calla lilies with handmade dark green leaves

    FINAL STEP💕
Combine the flower and leaves together, and your paper calla lily is complete! 🌼

    Eva’s Tip 🌿

One of the most beautiful things about crepe paper flowers is the texture of the paper itself. The grain can look very similar to the natural texture of real petals and leaves, which helps make the finished flower look much more realistic.

When cutting the petals and leaves, make sure to check the direction of the crepe paper grain carefully before you cut. This small detail makes a big difference in the final shape. ^^

When attaching the petal around the flower center, try not to use too much hot glue. If you glue the entire lower section, the center can become hidden. Apply just a small amount of glue near the bottom so the flower center remains visible and the calla lily keeps its elegant shape.

For the wavy edges of the leaves, leave a little space between each twist. Instead of making lots of tiny, tight waves, create larger and wider curves. This gives the leaves a softer look and helps your paper calla lily feel more graceful and natural. 🌼

Handmade crepe paper calla lilies arranged naturally at different heights in a clear glass vase

The paper calla lilies we made today look beautiful whether you arrange several stems together in a flower pot or place them in a clear glass vase. 🌿

Because paper flowers don’t need watering or special care and never wilt, you can enjoy them for a long time as handmade decor on a desk, shelf, or favorite corner of your home.

If you’ve been looking for a new hobby or a relaxing craft you can enjoy slowly at home, try making your own crepe paper calla lily. ^^

As you cut, stretch, shape, and wrap the paper, you can gently focus on one simple task at a time. And when the flower is finished, there’s something especially satisfying about decorating your own space with something you made by hand.

Every time you see the finished flower, you may feel that little sense of accomplishment all over again. 🌼

Your support means so much to me. Purchasing the pattern is a huge help and allows me to keep creating and sharing more paper flower tutorials with you. ^^

If it’s difficult to find all the materials individually, I’ve also prepared a complete kit with everything you need to make one paper calla lily project.

So don’t give up before you begin. I hope you’ll give it a try, enjoy the process, and experience the joy of creating something beautiful with your own hands. 🌼

Thanks for stopping by my little paper flower garden, my lovely bloom. 🌼

How to Make a Tropical Hibiscus Flower That Looks Almost Real – Crepe Paper Tutorial

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Realistic red tropical hibiscus flowers handmade from crepe paper in a metal vase

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
Time: About 1 hour per flower

Today, we’re going to make a crepe paper hibiscus with bright red petals that open beautifully and a long, eye-catching stamen.

Hibiscus flowers are large and vividly colored, so even a single bloom can make a striking statement.

Since each flower has only five petals, the basic structure is quite simple. If you follow along with my detailed YouTube video and use the step-by-step instructions below, even if this is your first time making paper flowers, you’ll be able to create a beautiful hibiscus of your own. ^^

Materials for making a tropical hibiscus flower from crepe paper, including wire, red and green crepe paper, pastel powder, a wooden skewer, and wood glue

    🌺 Materials You’ll Need

    • Hibiscus flower pattern
    • Scissors
    • Hot glue gun
    • 18-gauge green floral wire
    • 23-gauge green floral wire
    • 23-gauge white floral wire
    • 27-gauge white floral wire
    • 90 gsm red crepe paper
    • 90 gsm burgundy crepe paper
    • 90 gsm green crepe paper
    • Yellow craft sand
    • Wood glue

🌺 The Ultimate Showstopper! Make a Realistic Crepe Paper Hibiscus

Hibiscus petals are large and wide, so in some ways they’re actually easier to work with than flowers that require many tiny, delicate petals.

The stamen may look intricate because it has several small details, but if you follow my YouTube video and the step-by-step instructions below in order, you can complete it without too much difficulty. ✂️

For today’s tropical hibiscus flower, I used a rich, vivid red crepe paper.

Hibiscus flowers come in many beautiful colors, but personally, I think the classic red hibiscus is especially striking. ❤️
You could also try making your crepe paper hibiscus in a soft pink shade—I think it would look beautiful too. ^^

One of the most distinctive features of a hibiscus is the long red stamen extending from the center of the flower.

Since this is such an eye-catching detail, I designed the stamen to stand out as much as possible and become the focal point of this realistic paper flower. 🌺

Realistic red tropical hibiscus flower arrangement handmade from crepe paper in a black vase

The finished arrangement has a bright, tropical feel, but by keeping the overall color palette to rich red and muted green, it also blends beautifully into home decor without looking too flashy. 🌺🌿

I used 90 gsm Italian crepe paper for this tropical hibiscus flower.

The colors are vivid and the texture is beautiful, which makes this type of crepe paper especially suitable for large flowers like hibiscus.

To create the pollen detail at the tips of the stamen, I used yellow colored craft sand. ✨
If you don’t have any, you can simply grind up some yellow pastel and use the powder instead.

Small details like this help make a crepe paper hibiscus look much more realistic and bring the whole flower to life.

Size of a realistic red crepe paper hibiscus flower, measuring 14 cm in diameter and 40 cm in total length

Each hibiscus flower is about 14 cm (5.5 in) in diameter, with an overall stem length of approximately 35–40 cm (14–16 in). 🌺

Because this crepe paper hibiscus is fairly large and has such a vivid color, even just one or two flowers can make a beautiful statement piece in your home. ✨

🌺 How to Make a Realistic Crepe Paper Hibiscus

Cutting red crepe paper with a petal pattern for a realistic crepe paper hibiscus

    STEP.1⬆️

Stack two pieces of red crepe paper and cut them together using the petal pattern.

Gluing white floral wire between two red crepe paper petal layers in a V-shaped grain direction

    STEP.2⬆️

Place the two petal pieces so the crepe paper grain forms a V shape. Glue a piece of 23-gauge white floral wire along the edge of one petal piece, then cover it with the second piece and glue them together.

Twisting the edge of a red crepe paper hibiscus petal to create a natural wavy texture

    STEP.3⬆️

Gently twist the edges of the petal to create a soft, natural wave. 🌺

Gluing green floral wire between two crepe paper leaf layers for a tropical hibiscus flower

    STEP.4⬆️

Place two leaf pieces so the crepe paper grain forms a V shape. Glue a piece of 23-gauge green

Making a small round glue ball on white floral wire for the hibiscus pistil

    STEP.5⬆️

Using a hot glue gun, make a small round ball at the tip of a piece of 23-gauge white floral wire.

Wrapping red crepe paper around the glue ball to create the center of a paper hibiscus flower

    STEP.6⬆️

Cut a small circle from red crepe paper and wrap it around the glue ball.

Joining five handmade hibiscus pistil pieces together with red crepe paper

    STEP.7⬆️

Make five of these pieces, then gather them together and secure them by wrapping crepe paper around the base.

Cutting burgundy crepe paper into fine fringes to make hibiscus stamens

    STEP.8⬆️

Cut the burgundy crepe paper using the stamen pattern, leaving about 1 cm (0.4 in) uncut at the bottom. Cut the upper section into very thin fringes. ✂️

Adding yellow craft sand to the tips of burgundy crepe paper stamens for realistic pollen

    STEP.9⬆️

Apply a small amount of wood glue to the tips of the fringes, then dip them into yellow craft sand to create the pollen detail.

Wrapping the finished crepe paper stamens around the hibiscus pistil

    STEP.10⬆️

Wrap and glue the finished stamens around the pistil you made earlier.

Attaching five large red petals around the stamen of a realistic crepe paper hibiscus

    STEP.11⬆️

Measure about 9 cm (3.5 in) down from the top of the stamen, then attach the five red petals evenly around the stem. This is where your tropical hibiscus flower really begins to take shape. ❤️

Adding green crepe paper sepals underneath the petals of a tropical hibiscus flower

    STEP.12⬆️

Cut five sepals from green crepe paper using the sepal pattern, then glue them underneath the petals.

Finished realistic red crepe paper hibiscus flower with handmade leaves and long stem

    FINAL STEP💕

Finally, attach the prepared leaves to the flower stem and arrange them naturally. 🌿Your realistic crepe paper hibiscus is complete! 🌺

    Eva’s Tip 🌺

When making the petals and leaves, be sure to check the direction of the crepe paper grain.

The natural ridges in the crepe paper help create the look of real petal and leaf veins, so keeping the grain in the correct direction makes your crepe paper hibiscus look much more natural and polished. 🌿

When shaping the wavy edges of the petals, twist them gently a little at a time. Try to hold and twist the paper with the soft part of your fingers rather than your fingernails so you don’t leave marks or accidentally tear the paper.

If a petal does tear slightly while you’re shaping it, don’t worry. Simply trim the damaged area into a soft curve with scissors, then twist that edge again so it blends in like a natural petal variation. ✂️

When attaching the petals, place them about 9–12 cm (3.5–4.7 in) below the top of the stamen.

This little bit of extra space helps the long stamen stand out beautifully, which is one of the most eye-catching features of a tropical hibiscus flower. ✨

Realistic red crepe paper hibiscus flower arrangement in a metal vase with handmade green leaves

Red hibiscus flowers can create a completely different mood depending on the vase you choose. 🌺

Place them in a black vase for a more elegant and sophisticated look, in a silver metal vase for a unique vintage feel, or in a clear glass vase for a lighter and fresher atmosphere.

One of the best things about paper flowers is that they don’t need water or special care like fresh flowers do. They won’t wilt, and you can enjoy them for a long time, which makes them perfect for home decor. 🌿

If you’re looking for a creative hobby or something relaxing to make at home, try starting with just one crepe paper hibiscus. ^^

Rather than trying to finish several flowers at once, I recommend making one tropical hibiscus flower slowly at your own pace and enjoying the process. ✨

Purchasing the hibiscus pattern is a huge help in allowing me to keep creating and sharing these paper flower tutorials. 💛

If gathering all the materials one by one feels like too much, I also have a complete kit prepared with everything you need to make one crepe paper hibiscus flower.

So please don’t give up before you even start—give it a try and enjoy the process of creating your own beautiful tropical hibiscus flower. 🌺✨

Thanks for stopping by my little paper flower garden, my lovely bloom. 🌼
See you among the petals again!

How to Make Crepe Paper Cosmos Flowers: Easy Paper Flower Tutorial

Hey, lovely bloom! Thanks for wandering into my little paper flower garden. 🌸

Handmade crepe paper cosmos flowers in pink, yellow, and red with realistic green stems and leaves

    Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
Time: About 40 minutes–1 hour per flower

A little while ago, I made cosmos paper flowers with cardstock and arranged them as framed wall art.

Today, we’re making cosmos flowers again, but this time with crepe paper for a lighter, softer, and more lifelike look. ^^

While cardstock cosmos flowers have a clean and defined shape, crepe paper gives the petals a delicate texture that makes them look almost like real flowers gently moving in the breeze.

Cosmos flowers don’t have too many petals, so they’re easier to make than they may look. If you follow along with my YouTube video and the detailed step-by-step instructions below, even beginners who are new to paper flower making can complete this project. 🙂

Try making them in several colors such as pink, yellow, ivory, and burgundy. When you arrange them together in a vase, they create a soft and natural display that feels like bringing a little cosmos field right into your home. ^^

Materials for making crepe paper cosmos flowers, including crepe paper, wire, EVA foam, double-sided tape, wood glue, and a wooden stick

    Materials ✂️

    • Template
    • Scissors
    • Hot glue gun
    • Double-sided tape
    • 23-gauge green paper-covered wire
    • Wood glue
    • Thin wooden stick
    • EVA foam sheet
    • 90g light pink crepe paper
    • 90g burgundy crepe paper
    • 90g yellow crepe paper
    • 140g ivory crepe paper
    • 140g black crepe paper
    • 90g green crepe paper
Size guide for handmade crepe paper cosmos flowers showing a 4–5 cm flower diameter and approximately 35 cm total stem length

Cosmos flowers are relatively beginner-friendly because, unlike flowers such as zinnias or peonies, you don’t need to attach many layers of petals. 🌸

Since only a small number of petals are needed, you can simply arrange them in a circle around the center of the flower. Even if you’re new to paper flower making, you can still create a nicely balanced cosmos without using complicated techniques. 🙂

I made mine using yellow, light pink, and burgundy petals. 🎨
Even when you use the same cosmos template, each flower can look a little different depending on the paper color and how much you stretch and shape the petals. These small differences give every flower its own character and make the finished bouquet look much more natural.

The yellow cosmos feels fresh and cheerful, the light pink has a soft and lovely mood, and the deep burgundy creates a calm, rich look. Together, the different colors make a really charming cosmos arrangement.

For the petals, I used 90g crepe paper. ✂️
I made them in several different colors, but I think a bouquet made with many flowers in just one color would also look beautiful. ^^

I used an EVA foam sheet underneath the petals when adding the vein lines to help prevent the crepe paper from tearing. If you don’t have an EVA foam sheet, a soft computer mouse pad works well too. 🙂

Each finished flower is about 4–5 cm in diameter, although the size may vary slightly depending on how you make it. 📏

When attaching the petals around the stamen, placing them lower will create a slightly smaller flower. If you attach them a little higher, the finished cosmos will have a larger overall diameter. ^^

How to Make Crepe Paper Cosmos Flowers 🌸

Gently stretching the center of a yellow crepe paper cosmos petal by hand

    1. Shape the petals⬆️
Cut the crepe paper according to the petal template, then gently stretch the center of each petal by pressing it outward with your fingers.

    14. Finish the stem⬆️
Attach 2–3 prepared leaves along the flower stem, and your crepe paper cosmos flower is complete.

DIY crepe paper cosmos flowers in a white vase for home decor

    Eva’s Tip

When cutting the petals, always make sure the grain direction of the crepe paper matches the direction shown on the template. This will help you shape the petals properly. ^^

To add fine lines to the petals, I usually use the back of a pair of scissors. If it feels difficult to control the pressure and the paper starts to tear, you can gently make the lines with your fingernail instead. 🙂

For the leaves, try to keep them long and pointed. That slim shape is one of the details that gives cosmos flowers their delicate and charming look.

Cosmos flowers can instantly brighten a space when several blooms are arranged together.

Once your flowers are finished, place them in a vase and use them as paper flower decor for your living room, desk, or favorite corner of your home. You can also give them as a meaningful everlasting flower gift inspired by the symbolism of cosmos flowers.

Because cosmos flowers do not have too many petals, they are a great project for beginners. Their familiar shape also makes them easier to create, even if you do not know much about flowers yet. ^^

If you are looking for a relaxing hobby to enjoy at home or a calming adult craft that helps you slow down and focus, I highly recommend trying paper flower making.

Creating these posts takes a lot of time and care, so purchasing the template is a wonderful way to support my work. 😍

If you have trouble finding the materials, I’ve also prepared a complete kit with everything you need. Please don’t give up—I really hope you’ll give it a try and enjoy making your own cosmos flowers. 💕

Size guide for a crepe paper kumquat garland showing 35 cm overall width and 2.5–3 cm kumquat fruit diameter

This kumquat garland is a beginner-friendly project because there’s no need to layer delicate petals or create complicated flower centers.💕

You’ll make the kumquat fruits by wrapping Styrofoam balls with floral tape, then create the leaves repeatedly from crepe paper and connect everything together. The steps are simple, so even though you’ll repeat the same motions several times, your hands will quickly get used to the process and you’ll naturally become faster as you go.😊

Even if this is your first time working with crepe paper, there are no especially difficult techniques, so you can still create a polished and beautiful finished piece. 🙂

For the leaves, I used dark green Italian crepe paper. For the kumquat fruits, use Styrofoam balls around 2.5–3 cm in diameter. Mixing both sizes instead of using only one size will make the finished garland look more natural and realistic.

After the branches are finished, secure them to the wooden branch with binding wire. If you don’t have binding wire, you can also use twist ties or 27-gauge floral wire instead. ^^😍

The finished garland is about 35 cm wide, which makes it a lovely size for hanging on a door, wall, or small interior space.

How to Make a Crepe Paper Kumquat Garland

Connecting crepe paper leaves and handmade kumquat fruits to create a realistic kumquat branch

    STEP.1⬆️

Cut two pieces of dark green crepe paper using the leaf template. These leaves will give your crepe paper garland a rich, realistic look.😊

    STEP.2⬆️

Place the two half-leaf pieces so the crepe paper grain forms a V shape. Glue a piece of 23-gauge floral wire along the edge of one half, then place the other half on top and glue them together.😍

    STEP.3⬆️

Use a sponge to apply a thin layer of gloss varnish to the leaves. This adds a natural shine and makes the leaves look more lifelike.

    STEP.4⬆️

Wrap yellow floral tape around each Styrofoam ball until the white surface is completely covered. Mixing 2.5 cm and 3 cm balls will make the kumquat fruits look more natural.😘

    STEP.5⬆️

Use a sponge to gently add orange pastel to the surface of each fruit. Build up the color gradually to create the warm citrus tones of real kumquats.😊

    Eva’s Tip

The overall size of your kumquat garland can change depending on how many fruits you make and how much space you leave between each branch.

You don’t need to make it overly full or crowded. Around 12 kumquat fruits are enough to create a bright and eye-catching crepe paper garland. 🙂

You also don’t need to make every leaf exactly the same. Slight differences in the leaves and fruits actually help the finished branches look more natural and realistic, just like a real kumquat tree. ^^

Always make sure the grain of the crepe paper follows the direction shown on the template.

When making the leaves, arrange the crepe paper grain in a V shape. This is very important because the correct grain direction helps create natural-looking leaf veins and makes it easier to shape each leaf beautifully.😍💕
